Bei mir kam er in der leeren Hülle eines Kalkröhrenwurms ins Becken, das als Ablegerbecken eingerichtet ist. Zuerst fand ich ihn nett, habe ihn Borsti-Horsti genannt und war entschlossen ihn zu behalten. Er war Tag- und nachtaktiv und überhaupt nicht scheu, das fand ich gut aber auch schon seltsam. Dann verschwanden meine kleinen Nassarius Schnecken, die sollten den bodengrund durcharbeiten. Dann verschwand der Ableger Rhodactis howesii und ich bin auf die Suche gegangen. UND Borsti-Horsti hatte sich die Rhodactis fein reingezogen in den Stein wo er wegen der vielen Gänge wohnte und halb zerkaut. Am Stein bzw. in den Gängen hing er und ich sah die roten Streifen seitlich, die Glieder schimmerten wie Perlmutt, und hey, die Borsten waren sehr dominant. So leid es mir tat, ich habe ihn rausgeholt, und gemessen... uh-oh Zusammenzogen war er schon 10 cm lang....also leider kein Zuhause in meinem Becken.
