Leider sind wir in den meisten Fällen nicht in der Lage Scheibenanemonen - z.B. Rhodactis Arten genauer zu bestimmen, weshalb wir hier nur das übliche sp. verwenden. Wir warten schon lange auf eine Überarbeitung der Wissenschaft die uns helfen wird viele Arten genauer einzuordnen.

Allen gemein ist die leichte Haltung im Aquarium. Sie sind wenig empfindlich auf die Wasserwerte, und kommen in der Boden bis Mittellichtzone sehr gut zurecht. Auch sie dürften neben der Verwertung von Licht, auch Plakton fangen und dies verwerten.
Eine Vermehrung ist bei guten Pflegebedingungen natürlich möglich.
