Volvatella angeliniana Ichikawa, 1993

Volvatella have a large, weakly calcified, bulloid-shaped shell. At its posterior end, the shell narrows into a funnel or spout. The foot is relatively short . On the head is a pair of rounded oral lobes and a pair of somewhat flattened, rounded rhinophores.When this species disturbed, it produce a sticky white secretion .

Volvatella slugs feeds on the greenalgae Caulerpa.

Volvatella angeliniana : The mantle is translucent white with many large white patches, and the rhinophores are tipped with orange.There is an orange band around the posterior end and there can be an orange band at the anterior end of the mantle.
