Dieser Tiefsee-Eidechsenfisch wurde im Rahmen der NOAA Ocean Exploration and Research 2019 "Windows to the Deep 2019", Exploration of the Deep-sea Habits of the Southeastern United States im Norfolk Canyon in einer Tiefe von 1.610 Metern fotografiert.
In dieser Wassertiefe herrscht ein Druck von 161 Kilo pro Quadratzentimeter, oder von 1610 Tonnen pro Quadratmeter!!

Diese Art ist bislang noch nicht wissenschaftlich beschrieben.
