Colubraria cumingi (Dohrn, 1861)
Colubraria is a genus of sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Colubrariidae. Members of this genus lack a radula and feed by sucking blood from fish.
Colubraria cumingii is one of only two species of this genus at Kwajalein that have not yet caught in the act of parasitizing sleeping fish, even though it is probably the second most common species of Colubraria (after C. nitidula) in the Marshalls. This species often see crawling on the walls and ceilings of small caves in seaward reef surge channels at depths of about 10 to 18m.
