Snails genus Haminoeidae have a bubble shaped shell.Therefore it is called bubble snails.All Haminoeidae snails are herbivorous.

Atys Bubble snails feeds on algae and vegetable detritus.This species is widely distributed in the Indo-Pacific.

Description Atys sp.02: Body translucent white with black pigment; Shell translucent cylindrical with prominet strations; opaque white and brown spots visible below the surface of the shell. Burrows in fine sandy substrates on 1-3m Tiefe.
