Info

Scorpaenodes tredecimspinosus is a small representative of the scorpionfishes that has found its ecological niche mainly on deep coral reefs and steep, coral-covered slopes. However, although the predatory fish is widely distributed in their habitat, it is rarely seen.

Further information on Scorpaenodes tredecimspinosus can be found in the book °A field guide to Atlantic coast fishes of North America [1986]", the book is available at specialty stores or through interlibrary loan.
