Ich pflege in meinem 150l Würfel ein Exemplar das ich eher zufällig erworben habe. Der Einsiedler ist tagsüber fast nie zu sehen und kommt frühestens in der Blaulichtphase aus seinem Versteck unter dem Riff. Die rechte Schere ist grösser als die linke, die Beine sind rot-weiss (längs-)gestreift, die Augenstile sind violett und die Augen selbst sind gelb. Ergreift vor anderen Einsiedlern lieber die Flucht und reagiert auch auf Bewegung vor dem Aquarium mit Rückzug.
Ist meiner Meinung nach eher ein Resteverwerter als ein guter Algenfresser. Braucht natürlich auch grössere Häuschen zum wechseln.
Ein sehr schöner Einsiedler von dem man aber aufgrund seiner Lebensweise gerade in grösseren Becken sicher nicht viel hat.
