Liopetrolisthes mitra (Dana, 1852)

The porcellanid crab Liopetrolisthes mitra is a common associate of the black sea urchin, Tetrapygus niger in Chile. The association between the Porcelain crab Liopetrolisthes mitra and the Black Sea urchin Tetrapygus niger is strong and persists throughout the benthic life of the commensal crab.
