Anthothela pacifica is a very small, inconspicuous coral, which is often overlooked by divers.
As a distinctly cold water animal Anthothela pacifica is not suitable for home aquariums.
Etymology: The species name "pacifica" was probably named after the type locality, the northern Pacific.
In the first description as Clavularia pacifica the color is described as light yellowish.
Special thanks for his photo of Anthothela pacifica to Neil McDaniell.
