Parazoanthus juan-fernandezii is a colonial crustose anemone known so far only from the Juan Fernández Archipelago.
The crustose anemone is a symbiont of Pacific shallow-water Demosponge species.

Number of tentacles per polyp is 32 - 46 tentacles, a polyp is max. 1,5cm long and 0,5cm wide.

World Register of Marine Species (WoRMS) has deposited on the species page the taxonomic note that Parazoanthus juan-fernandezii may be a synonym of Parazoanthus elongatus.
