Info

The starfish Tamaria tenella will probably be seen by very few people, which is due to the deep distribution of the animal.

The color of living starfish is unknown, the existing ethanol specimens show brown cross bands on the arms with darker papular areas and cross lines between the plates on the abacterial surface.

The animal will certainly not enter the trade and should live where it is native to the deep oceans.
