Info

A male of Gnathia antennacrassa was collected on 18 January 1996 on sandy substrates with the seagrass Amphibolis griffithii (J.M. Black) Hartog, 1970 and the seagrass Posidonia sinuosa Cambridge & Kuo, 1979 bed, at a depth of 5 meters in Thomson Bay, Rottnest Island, Western Australia.

The fish host of this parasitic isopod is currently unknown.

Etymology: The specific name antennacrassa is derived from Latin and means "thick antenna".
