Thecaplax capillosa Ng & Rahayu, 2014
Thecaplax capillosa is dirty white, but is often stained with mud and therefore often appears brown. The scissors are not quite the same size and have long bristles at the top and bottom.
Etymology: The species name "capillosa" comes from the Latin capillaris for "hairy"; alluding to the very hairy shell and legs of the type species.
The small crab lives in sandy areas in the tides.
