Info

Rhinolithodes wosnessenskii Brandt, 1848

Rhinolithodes wosnessenskii, also called the rhinoceros crab, is a species of king crab, the only species in the genus Rhinolithodes.

This species can be found on rocks or gravel bottoms. Feeds on bryozoans, including Philidophore pacifica.

Similar to Phyllolithodes, which has long, blunt projections on its legs rather than spines and setae.
