The photo of Nidalia simpsoni was taken by Michael Mrutzek in the sea (Cabilao, Philippines).
According to Michael, it has a size of up to 4 cm and can be found on the undersides of reef overhangs.
As far as I have been able to research (see K. Fabricius), it is also quite rare.

It eats actively and does not live on its zooxanhellae.
