This sponge was added by Henning Wiese with a reference to the specific name Suberites carnosus.

So, also this sponge has come with live rock into the sump and seems to feel good. Deposited on the link below you will find the distribution which seems to be quite widely. It ranges from colder waters of Europe, about America up to tropical waters.
