Trivia monacha belongs to the family Triviidae.This snails are food specialists, feeding on sea squirts (Ascidiae-Botryllus schlosseri, Botrylloides leachi and Diplosoma listerianum). Trivia monacha lives mainly in shallow waters on hard ground, but is also found in deep sea.The shell is similar in form to cowries.Trivia monacha are 3 points on the shell.Head, tentacles, mantle and foot of Trivia monacha are bright yellow to red, sometimes green.
