Tenellia poritophages (Rudman, 1979)

Phestilla poritophage can only found on colonies of the coral Porites, on which it lives, feeds and lays its eggs .

This nudibranch has a very rapid life cycle. In an aquarium study in a 6 week period, 6 animals produced about 120 offspring.An all of them produced 29,000 eggs.This sea slug is a nocturnal species.
