This moray eel from Indonesia is still unidentified.
Museum Support Center:
"It looks like a member of the Gymnothorax reticularis group, but it doesn't quite match any of the known species. The only moray with a posterior nostril that long is Enchelycore pardalis, which is quite different in head shape and color pattern. It is undoubtedly something new."
FishBase 06.05.2016 " According to Dr David Smith of the Smithsonian Institution, 'this is almost certainly an undescribed species."
