Okenia amoenula (Bergh, 1907)

Okenia amoenula is endemic to the South African coast.This species can be found to at least 30 m depht.

The body is smooth and pale creme coloured with with orange and yellow-orange tipped fingerlike projections which resemble flames. Okenia amoenula is commonly known as "fiery nudibranch".

The fiery nudibranch feeds on bryozoans.
