Unidentia angelvaldesi, a new species of aeolid nudibranchs, is known from the Pacific coast of Mexico, Panama and the Indopacific.Unidentia angelvaldesi have smooth rhinophores.This nudibranch feeds exclusively on hydrozoon polyps (Corydendrium).
Very similar are Flabellina cf. rubrolineata,Flabellina rubrolineata and any Flabellina sp.
Unidentia cf. angelvaldesi lacks the purple longitudinal lines.
