Felimare cantabrica is light and dark blue coloured, flecked with yellow lines and spots.Mantle edge is lined with yellow bands.Gills and rhinophores are purple.
This species feeds exclusively on sponges from the genus Dysidea.
Very similar to Felimare malacitina.
