Scyllarides elisabethae (Ortmann, 1894)

Scyllarides elisabethae, commonly known as the Cape slipper lobster, have a dull brown boddy with a rough texture and orange patterns. The legs are strikingly banded vermilion. This slipper lobster is endemic to South Africa (Cape Town to East Londen).

Scyllarides elisabethae can be found on rocky reefs shovel loose gravel patche and feed on worms and mollucs.
