Desmonema gaudichaudi (Lesson, 1832)

The Cyaneidae are a family of true jellyfish. About 20 species are in this family, including the well-known lion's-mane jellyfish.

Disc up to 1.5 m. Ground color white, white with dark spots, dark centre with light margin and dark spots, or uniformly dark brownish or purple, or maroon-violet.

Similar to Desmonema chierchianum.
