Litophyton striatum is mainly known from the Western Indian Ocean, the Red Sea and Japan, New Caledonia and Indonesia.
The soft coral appears stiff, which is caused by a large number of long sclerites, up to one millimeter long.
The stalk of Litophyton striatum is very short.
The color of the coral is cream, although it appears more greenish in the photo.
Unfortunately, we do not have any further information about the biology and propagation of Litophyton striatum at the moment.
