Diniatys dentifer is a bubble snail belongs to the Family Haminoeidae. Bubble snails have a bubble shaped,transparent, tin and ovoid shell.

This species can be found on sandy or muddy bottom on shores and on rocky habitats.

Diniatys dentifer feeds on blue-green algae (cyanobacteria) Lyngbya majuscula,Schizothrix and Hormothamnion
