Liopropoma japonicum (Döderlein, 1883)

Found on the shelf and shelf edge, on rocky bottoms. Collected at a depth of about 100 m.

Liopropomas is a secretive, cryptic species, this basslet is usually found in caves, crevices and under ledges.
Liopropomas requires a richly structured aquarium with many hiding places and caves.
