Petrolisthes tomentosus (Dana, 1852)

Petrolisthes tomentosus was sdescribed by Kropp (1986) for an ovigerous female specimen collected from Tahiti.

Thisnporcelain crab can be found at the low intertidal to 31 m; under rocks, on dead corals or on the bases of living corals . Carapace, chelipeds and ambulatory legs
entirely creamy white.
