Jumping guard
A jumping guard prevents (nocturnal) fish from jumping out.
Wrasses, blennies, hawkfishs and gobies jump out of an unprotected tank in fright if their night rest is disturbed, unfortunately these jumpers are found dried up in the morning on carpets, glass edges or later behind the tank.

A small night light also helps, as it provides the fish with a means of orientation in the dark!

Eine friedliche kleine Grundel, die sich immer auf dem Sandboden aufhält und nachts in einer Höhle unter einem Stein schläft. Sie droht sehr kleinen Neuankömmlingen, beruhigt sich aber nach ein paar Tagen. Sie ist nicht übertrieben aktiv und kann in kleinen Becken ab vlt. 100 Litern gut gehalten werden. Zur Verpaarung kann ich nichts sagen, da ich ein Einzeltier halte.
