Felimare porterae (Cockerell, 1901)

The whole body is dark blue with two yellow stripes which run from the rhinophores next to the gills. In the middle of the two yellow stripe runs a pale center-line. Sometimes it has on the head in front of the rhinophores a little yellow horizontal stripe. The outer edge of the animal is light blue to white.

Mexichromis porterae feeds on sponges of the genus Dysidea and is to be found in the Pacific from the Gulf of California to Panama.
