Lysmata splendida Burukovsky, 2000

Lysmata splendida was described by Rudolf N. Burukovsky in 2000 from a few specimens collected in the Maldives. Commonly known as the Splendid Fire Shrimp or the Starry Blood Shrimp.

Similar to Lysmata debelius. Lysmata splendida has a greater number of white spots on carapace and their presence on the abdomen.
