Acropora teres

Characters: Colonies are arborescent, composed of twisted branches which subdivide infrequently. They may form extensive compact stands. Axial corallites are small. Radial corallites are small and immersed, with circular outward facing openings. The coenosteum is coarse.
Colour: White.
Habitat: Shallow reef slopes and lagoons.
Abundance: Rare.
Similar species: Acropora abrolhosensis , Acropora formosa
