Husbandry

This photo was provided by Heinz Mahler and shows very likely the Epinephelus retouti (Bleeker, 1868) or Red-tipped grouper.

This beautiful picture was taken when diving in Indonesia, the size of these fish in this picture is about 50cm. It is interesting that adult animals appear to live in much greater depth than juvenile animals, which usually can be seen from 20-40 meters.
